There is some political and hidden messages in this movie, whether they film makers and studio meant for that or not. Pushing that aside, the story is very predictable which makes the film feel dragged out, even at 95 minutes. The editing and pacing felt very choppy in the first act. Half way through the movie and in the third act is where it takes a turn for the better and is a fantastic adaptation of the mobile game. The film's pacing and storytelling improves significantly. It's not Disney or Pixar quality storytelling but there is some heart at the center of it. I'm a big fan of the visual style with eye catching backgrounds, environments and assets. The voice cast is perfect and there are a lot of funny bits and gags that hit home depending on your level and type of humor.
