The original might have been mediocre but the remake is just crap. Barely following the events from The Amityville Horror it almost seems to be a different movie. The worst part about the whole movie though was the fact that it a potential to be a great movie.
It at the actors and the fist 5 minutes of the movie seemed promising but it all went down hill soon after with poor writing and story.
