Review of The Amityville Horror (2005) by Corey N — 31 Jul 2009
This is a decent remake to the original Amityville Horror film. I like the original a little better than this remake. But this is still a decent watch. I find the story more of a scare of the unknown than a horror scare.
Ryan Reynolds is excellent in his role.The film has your basic spooky look and feel to the film. And it works. It does not try and out do the original. Just a nice refresh. Worth a watch if you liked the original.
