Meh. I'm not a fan of this storyline in general, but at least this one was a lot less cheesy than the original. Of course, that really doesn't make it much better. The characters were all ridiculously stupid; why didn't they leave the house the first time they saw the dead girl? Pssh.
Some things in this were freaky (the closet scene, sort of, but that babysitter deserved it). The ending was pathetic, honestly; just a random scene that didn't make any connection to the rest of the movie, and I laugh when I think back on it.
Ryan Reynolds was pretty good in his role, though. I think the best scene was when he forced his kid to hold the wood while he was chopping it. Now if the rest of the movie coulda been like that...
