Review of The Amityville Horror (2005) by C C B — 21 Jan 2012

I didn't have much hope for this movie, you see, remakes, don't do very well. They aren't as great as the original. But this was pretty good.

Ryan Reynolds is a great actor, I didn't think he was going to be able to pull off a serious role, but he smashed it. He gets big props from me.

Melissa George did fantastic, as well as Rachel Nichols, even though she had a small part, she played it very well.

The only person I had a problem with in this movie was Jimmy Bennett, that poor little thing can't act a bit, he is very annoying.

But overall, well done.
