Review of The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) by Martavius L — 16 Jul 2014

I poo poo'd this reboot before actually watching it, but having finally watched the movie and seen Andy Garfields take on Peter Parker, I was wrong to judge the film prematurely! As good as some of the other recent offerings from Marvel Studios, the CGI is a bit flakey, but I guess how genuine CAN you make a man who swings around NYC like an insectoid Tarzan? Definitely worth a watch, the storyline and filmography I think are better than the Sam Rami trilogy.
