Review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) by The A — 24 Jan 2015

Some moments feel like they would naturally occur in the situations given, while others feel as if they happen only to push the plot forward. That being said, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is by no means a bad movie, as it's filled to the brim with dazzling action effects and likeable leads; the latter of which is what really seals the film as more than just an unnecessary sequel.

However, the film suffers not from a plethora of characters as you may have heard, but from rushed moments trying to fit more into this film than necessary. You find yourself rooting for Peter and Gwen to get together more than than Peter to face off against Electro or any other villain he goes up against.
