Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's chemistry is still lovely, but this is definitely a reminder that it's time we officially give Spider-Man a rest. We got the Tobey Maguire movies and they were great (except for the third one, of course).
The first Amazing Spider-Man was surprisingly terrific. This one suffers from WAY TOO MANY characters and a forced subplot involving the "Sinister Six" that's just pointless. Too many villains, as well.
It's also frustrating how Garfield acts all sassy when he's in costume, but off costume he's totally different.
