Review of The Alphabet Killer (2008) by Daniel K — 19 Jan 2010
This film is very loosely based on real events. Despite it's awkward screenplay and dull but adequate script, Eliza Dushcu gives a great watchable performance which carries the film. The movie fails to reach it's potential and has a really terrible ending because I think they just got to a stooping place and didn't know where to go.
It's almost like a pilot movie for a TV show. Timothy Hutton is good but not utilized in this movie. He has very little screen time so his character lacks and fails to contribute to the story despite it's importance.
In spite of the films short comings, I enjoyed it even if it is only because I am a Eliza Dushcu fan.
