Seemed like less of a movie than a REALLY LONG history lesson, with an outstanding performance by Billy Bob Thornton stuck somewhere in the middle, trying so hard to breakout or hopelessly raise the level to engaging.
Dennis Quaid was useless as most most of the movie.
