Review of The Air I Breathe (2007) by Michelle H — 29 Jul 2008
I loved the concept of this film very much and found it to be an enjoyable watch. SMG impressed me with her performance (since being an ex fan of Buffy I have been dissapointed with the films SMG has done post-Buffy) of an international popstar called Trista who was a little on the spoilt side until her fate falls into the hands of Garcia's mob character but through this she meets Brenden Fraser's character whose performance suprised me the most (and its made me realise he is eye candy!).
Their love although short was incrediably sweetl. There were a couple of scenes that I thought were beautiful in this film, such as Whitaker's character experiencing his exact moment of hapiness on top of the building and when Fraser's character asking 'Trista' her real name.
The only story I found a bit stupid was the linkage between SMG and Kevin Bacon's character, it felt like they were desperate to try and find something for them. All in all the film was very good and the performances from the whole cast were amazing.
