This is a unique movie. The cast is tremendous albeit underutilized. The story is an interesting concept filled with cliches throughout. It's one of those movies you look at and say, "Wow, had another director done this movie, it'd be a masterpiece.".
Despite its flaws, The Air I Breathe still entertained me. I'd recommend it, but I'd preface that recommendation with, "You might not like it.".
