Review of The Agony and the Ecstasy (1965) by Mat K — 27 Jan 2009
A historical, quasi religious, character piece, bordering on epic proportions. With the exception of the Michelangelo biography that starts the movie it is reasonably well written and well made. It is also fun to watch Rex Harrison act circles around Heston.
