Review of The Age of Innocence (1993) by Jeff B — 21 Jan 2011
A tedious movie to watch, Age of Innocence succeeds in informing the reality of social expectation. One that is seen in the 19th Century that has been carried forth to the 21st Century. Where I feel Scorsese has failed is the convoluted love triangle that prods about.
However the look of the film remains brilliant.
