Another solid effort from Scorcese. Although this one isn't as violent or raw as his others. This one focuses on the turmoil one man faces as he is drawn to his wifes cousin. All actors and actresses do a fine job in htis one.
Daniel Day-Lewis is spectacular as usual he really nails the part of the conflicted man. Pfiefer also does a great job as his forbidden desire. It may be a little slow and dull at parts, but a great film overall when you look closely.
