Review of The Age of Innocence (1993) by Darien S — 05 Nov 2012
Daniel Day Lewis gives an impressively restrained performance but the film's central theme is stated over and over again until the film renders itself pointless. (Atonement had a similar problem). The ending scene, however, is poignant, but not redeeming of the film as a whole.
