Review of The Age of Adaline (2015) by John E — 08 May 2015

Nerdy, pretty white girl proves that women can't drive and is rewarded with eternal youth. Eventually gets stalked by a rich tech mogul that ignores all her attempts to shut him down then uses her love of books to black mail her into a date.

Tricking her with a joke to force her to his place where he again ignores her disinterest until she finds it easier to sleep with him than to continue rejecting him. She leaves as soon as possible the next day and finds her dog dying resulting in the most romantic part of the movie as the dog passes away.

Rich creepy guy invades her privacy and uses his influence at her job to steal her address and find her there. She again rejects him and tries to move on. Taking the bad advice of her elderly daughter she goes back to him proving that women need a man to feel complete.

They go to meet his parents and learn that she had fling with his dad in the 60's and she left him. She runs away and changes her mind and, again, proves that women can't drive by making a u turn on a dark road without looking.

Almost dies and can now age. Happily ever after.
