Though it starts with a fairly intriguing first half, The Age of Adeline comes crashing into a melodramatic mess in the later, completely missing any and all opportunities of having an interesting story being told through it's peculiar setup and instead focuses on a previous (and weak) love story between a minor character and the protagonist.
