Review of The Age of Adaline (2015) by Stefano F — 09 Mar 2016
There is an interesting idea here but it doesn't all click. Blake Lively makes her name ironic here because she's hardly Lively at all in this movie in fact has the range of a cardboard box in this movie and zero chemistry with anyone she shares the screen with.
Harrison Ford and Ellen Burstyn do decent work and the guy that plays Ford in a flashback looks spot on to a young Ford that really would make a great young Han Solo for the stand alone movie. The screenplay is meh, the voice over is horrible, and the music is abrasive.
It's ok at best.
