Review of The Age of Adaline (2015) by Dave J — 08 May 2016
Everything here is Blake Lively. She is the soul and face of this story and she nails it. The plot may not be anything real new (I kept waiting for her to say 'no I'm not a vampire'), but she gives it a certain humanity and haunting struggle.
Harrison Ford add's a nice touch, although I felt that emotional aspect of the plot was left somewhat unfulfilled. Plus you KNOW when the Ellis character found out she was aging again, his first thought was "Aw crap.
..." That would have ruined the ending though of course...
