Review of The African Queen (1952) by Kit G — 05 Apr 2008
I haven't seen many movies with Bogart; but his carefree charm sure won me over. Loved the contrast between him and the uptight Hepburn. I was totally engaged - no small feat when the focus is jsut on two characters for such a great length of time.
Could have done without the wedding (a bit much for me) but otherwise a nice little film all around.
