Review of The African Queen (1952) by Dave R — 18 Dec 2008
Hmmm... bogart and hepburn play a couple of lonely single people who find love when they turn to terrorism. funny how it can be seen that way - it's all about perspective: they are not combatants... they make some IEDs... they attack a foreign navy vessel... even more disturbing is the hint of divine intervention that aids them...
Anyway, watched this because it's always listed as one of the greats. I found hepburn's character obnoxious; bogart was pretty good though. definitely not one of my favorites but a decent movie.
