Review of The African Queen (1952) by Sebastian L — 21 Apr 2009
A hugely entertaining movie with delightful characters. Watching Bogart and Hepburn argue is the epitome of the romantic screwball opposites. They hate each other, yet along their madcap and adventurous journey, they learn to respect and ultimately love one another.
Despite its contrived moments, this is first-rate Hollywood fare.
