A bona-fide classic of Old Hollywood. It might be tosh, but it's tosh of the highest order. Errol Flynn is magnetic as Robin Hood, and Basil Rathbone is at his hissing best as the villain, and the sword-fights - they're played out like ballet, exquistite, violent and thrilling.
A brauvara production.
