Review of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994) by Marcus W — 01 Apr 2008
Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce and Terence Stamp (here stealing the show and all the best lines) have never been better. This film is full of heart, humour and imagination. More than once it threatens to delve into the hardships of doing what they do only to turn around and laugh it off.
It would be easy to crticise a lacking in the plot but the sheer fun and pace of this film buries it. Fabulous darling!
