Review of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994) by Jeff L — 31 May 2008
This humorous, touching and feel-good film is like the film To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything but without the typical and cliched ending and with a more realistic one and a grander finale. The eccentric yet colorful outfits and the music score are amazing, and the characters are lovable and sympathetic.
The only thing I hate about this film is its stereotypical and negative depiction of Asians, specifically of Pilipinos.
