Review of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949) by Curtis H — 23 Jul 2012
Quite possibly the best Disney package film. Toad is laugh-out-loud, rip-roaring, and hilarious, utilizing an excellent voice cast to tell comically brilliant tale. As for Ichabod Crane, not only are the lilting vocals of Mr.
Bing Crosby enjoyable as always, the sometimes creepy, often satirical musical story telling is incredibly witty. As a package deal, the film is awesome.
