Review of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949) by David E — 04 Aug 2012
Two very different stories, told in very different styles, but both are completely enjoyable. The animation throughout is crisp and beautiful. The two different narration styles complement their respective segments perfectly.
Though the idea of combining these two tales into a single film may sound odd, it works quite well. Even though it is one of the lesser known Disney films, it should not be missed.
