Review of The Adventures of Huck Finn (1993) by Austin R — 18 Dec 2013

While for the most part a fair adaptation of the novel, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn offers solid acting for the most part especially with Elijah Wood's excellent portrayal of the witty, and mischievous Huck, the themes expressed in the book are not as well displayed on the big screen.

The film also doesn't always do the book justice. Problems aside, Elijah's Wood performance and the lively tone and well-realized setting make for an exciting and enjoyable 100 minute family/ kids movie.
