Review of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988) by Katherine G — 17 Nov 2008
Terry Gilliam's vision here is so fantastic. What a mind, what an imagination. Winged Death; the recreation of Boticelli's "The Birth of Venus;" Venus (Uma) dancing with the Baron in a wetly dripping, circular ballroom as they become airborne; Lovely Oliver Reed as Vulcan; Robin Williams in an uncredited role.
What more could you want? What I haven't listed is in there. God I love this movie.
