Review of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988) by Justin W — 21 Nov 2009

Let me start by saying that the amount of fog used in this movie is unbelievable, but that's not the big picture. The Adventures of Baron Munchausen is a movie that brings back the heart and soul I forgot about in movies.

It made me thing of fantasy and action in a whole different way and quite frankly changed my life in a small way. The story is absolutely breathtaking, and keeps getting better as the movie unfolds. This movie does everything right as it gives the characters good emotional meaning to the person watching, it shows stunning visuals for the time it was made, it makes me feel like it isn't a movie at all, and when its over I don't feel in anyway that - oh they should have changed this and that to make it better.

Terry Gilliam really shined with this movie.
