Review of The Adjustment Bureau (2011) by Alexander K — 14 Jun 2013
Starts off very promising and Damon really knows how to carry a movie but as with most films featuring an overarching slowly revealing mystery element to its plot once said reveal is made the story seems to run out of steam.
Being that this is based on a Phillip K. Dick novel as well, one would expect much more depth and exploration of the key premise (an immensely interesting one with endless room for exploration) but as it stands The Adjustment Bureau ties everything up, in typical Hollywood style, a little too easily.
That said this is a solid piece of sci-fi tinged romance.
