The Adjustment Bureau starts with great potential and mystery but has one of the greatest anti-climaxes seen a while. With its many silly plot tools, this movie becomes another "love conquers all" cliché.
The actors have done reasonably well, but the story and the many elements of it have far too many holes, and far too many questions to be considered credible or worthwhile. This helps detract from the message of the movie and finally shows it as a silly movie with no real undertone.
It is painful to see such potential be wasted so.
