Review of The Adjustment Bureau (2011) by Greg D — 24 Apr 2013
Phillip K Dick is a genius writer and this is an intelligent adaptation of one of his 1950s stories. Matt Damon carries a bit of Bourne with him, Emily Blunt is charismatically beautiful and even though he only has a few scenes, Terence Stamp steals the show. It gets you thinking about the decisions we make and the ripples these create. Fate and divine intervention are referenced; questioning the idea of "free will".
Romantic, moving, sci fi, action flick. If it was musical too, it'd have to made in Bollywood. Recommended.
