Film owes more to the original spirit of the Charles Addam's cartoons than the 60's TV show. Great production design and costumes, inventive camera work, and a whole host of 'creepy-cooky' characters make up for a rather lame plot.
Best performances by Julia, Huston and above all Christina Ricci as Wednesday.
