Based on the TV series derived from comics by Charles Addams, this feature surrounds a macabre family of eccentric aristocrats. The plot follows a stranger (Christopher Lloyd) who claims to be the family's long lost Uncle Fester.
It's a scam to rob the Addams' of their fortune, but there may be a possibility that the ruse is truer than anyone thinks. The script is a little scattered, but the movie comes together as a whole thanks to its grimly appealing gags and fine performances.
Most viewers will come out of this picture appreciating the talents of Raul Julia and Angelica Huston.
