Review of The Addams Family (1991) by Kristoffer H — 17 May 2010
There's crazy and random, but then there's something like this that goes way too far. I'm going to be honest here: I wasn't impressed with the Addams Family. I think part of the reason is that it never becomes more than just a random family film, never showing that it's making an effort to be a decent film.
From the predictable plot (which is saying a lot for an Addams Family film) to the less than impressive script, it's got plenty of flaws. It's not devoid of quality completely though: Raul Julia, Christopher Lloyd and Christina Ricci stood out to be as perfectly portraying the unusual characters.
It's just a shame that Jimmy Workman and Dan Hedeya annoyed me.
