Review of The Act of Killing (2012) by Robert L — 20 Jun 2015
One funny movie. The characters WERE killers. Had the movie documented them then, it would have been horrific. But, now, the characters are just old men. Watching them re-enact their killer pasts just comes off as bizarre and, well, humorous.
The people behind this movie accomplished what documentaries should: they exposed the true natures of the characters: once feared, now funny tormented old farts.
