Lovably quirky romantic film. The novel (a Pulitzer Prize nominated work by Anne Tyler) is untouched except for a detail or two.
Both Geena Davis and William Hurt embody their literary characters with zealousness.
Lawrence Kasdan demonstrates once again that he knows about making character driven movies.
