Review of The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971) by Samuel D — 25 Jul 2007
Admittedly strange but nevertheless oddly chilling. What's weird is that it is apparently set in a seventies which curiously resembles the early twentieth century. Though the deaths aren't all that graphically gruesome and oftentimes a bit silly, it's the cold-hearted way with which Phibes executes them that gets under your skin a bit.
