Review of The Abandoned (2006) by Giovanni C — 12 Sep 2007

One of the eight films to die for, if this movie is any indication, the other seven aren't great either. Excellent use of sound, lighting and cinematography (plus a few disturbing images) were bogged down by a listless, convoluted and somewhat murky plot.

Also, there were about four perfectly reasonable endings, and it bothers me that the director included all four of them instead of just picking one.
