Review of The 6th Day (2000) by Aidan S — 03 Feb 2008

The concept is great, and the story mostly works well, but I found Schwarzenegger's performance to actually be something of a weak point for the film. He just plays it too cute. Arnie can be serious when he needs to be, and he occasionally hits the right notes to make this the morally complex sci-fi it wants to be, but all too often he lapses back into his corny one-liner spewing action star persona, which just seems out of place here.
