Review of The 6th Day (2000) by Sherry W — 10 Aug 2008
Schwarzo is always watchable but its a bit of a disappointment seeing him pretty much play his 'jingle all the way' character again. Instead of a tuuuueeerrbo maaaan he's searching for his clonnnnne.
The subject matter is intersting and all that but there is no memorable action at all and after all that is what we're watching this for. The first half is pritty good but the 2nd half gets bogged down and then the ending/climactic face off is just too silly.
Still its hard to hate a film (Batman and Robin aside) where Arnie's quipping away...the best one here : (after a baddy's falls in a dodgy position on a clone of himself) "When I told you to go screw yourself I didnt mean it literally".
