Wow. I NEVER write movie reviews but this is just ridiculous, and I mean that literally. This 'movie' is what happens when the producers and director don't even TRY and release a pandering piece of garbage that doesn't make a bit of sense.
It's post alien invasion America, where the blow dryer still works and the cast of hot people in their mid-twenties are playing teenagers. Really. Everyone also has a cosmetic consultant. This entirely derivative and nearly plagiarized pile of teen angst fails in every dimension, and I wonder how people get access to so much funding with work this incompetent.
Incompetent is the word, this movie is awful, and if it follows the 'book' closely then all of this criticism goes to the author too.
