This movie was fun, suspenseful, and entertaining. Did it follow the novel exactly, no. But, how many films based on novels do follow the stories perfectly? More importantly, 'The 5th Wave' is worth watching, and it is perfect entertainment for the age group it is targeting.
So, spend the money on a ticket and enjoy.
