Review of The 5th Wave (2016) by Quyen D — 30 Jun 2016
The effects was decent, the credits roll was creative, and some actors were very talented. But the plot bloated with various ridiculous clichés, poor execution, YA fiction stereotypes, forced romance (along with the wooden acting of our cute over-aged male lead) and the intention for sequel so obvious are what make The 5th Wave a so-bad-it's-good movie.
