Review of The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T. (1953) by Alexis S — 16 Oct 2008
Bizarre children's fantasy written by Dr. Suess. Lavish and outlandish set and costume design are a Dr. Suess book come to life, and the incredibly imaginative story makes for some great moments. But even at 88 minutes it's just too long, often bogged down by tedious and unnecessary song and dance numbers.
As dated as it is, worth watching for the imaginative visuals alone.
