Review of The 39 Steps (1935) by Yaniv E — 28 Aug 2007
What a thrill ride! One of my favorite Hitchock movies, and let's just stand back and realize this was 1935! Kept me off the edge of my seat the entire time, with awesome sub-plots and genuine comedy which could often be overlooked in this fast-paced thriller.
Another classic mistake in identity film by the man who should have just as well copyrighted it as his own genre before future directors came around trying to pull of this theme and made off like headless chickens wasting my 2 hours of film-watching time.
Hats off to you alfi!
