Review of The 39 Steps (1935) by Thomas L — 31 May 2009
Libby and I found this among a fairly extensive collection of British Hitchcock films on Hulu. It's classic Hitchock, for sure. The scenes in which Robert Donat and Medleine Carroll are handcuffed together are wonderful, but Robert Donat does a great job even when he's just fleeing the police or enemy spies all by himself.
It's just a highly entertaining film the whole way through.
