Review of The 39 Steps (1935) by Paavo I — 30 Oct 2009
Whenever I hear the word 'spy' and 'film' in the same sentence, my brain switches off, but I made an exception for this as my mum had always said how much she loved it. I am a big fan of Alfred Hitchcock, and although this won't go down as one of my favourite films I've ever seen, I think it just about deserves its classic status.
